BA Gives Free Hot Short-Haul Drinks a Go for Frequent Flyers

British Airways is currently running a trial on offering Silver and Gold Executive Club members aboard short-haul flights between Geneva and London free coffee, tea and water. If this initial trial run proves successful, British Airways might enact a similar policy across more diverse routes going forward.

It is a good idea, but since BA consider themselves a "Premium" airline, they ought o provide complimentary soft drinks and hard drinks to all economy class passengers. In the U.S. and Canada that's the norm, and the cost to BA is relatively miniscule, while at least appearing to be something better than EasyJet or RyanAir and the like.

Just came from Barcelona yesterday, and everyone with Gold and Silver status was offered a drink - any drink though, not just tea, coffee or water!
