BA Changes Its Baggage Allowance Rules With Almost No Notice

From today forward, the Most Generous Allowance luggage policy is no longer valid. British Airways changed its baggage policy last night, with little to no notice.
The Most Generous Allowance policy once allowed you to retain the biggest luggage allowance from any flight on your itinerary and have it apply to all flights. Now you will have to pay extra, when applicable, for connecting flights.

BA used to be the greatest airline in the Western world but for the last few years they started a mania of making their clients' travels more and more uncomfortable and difficult. And as FlyerTaldk mentions, it's always done last minute, with no prior notice, and not even an email to their EC members. They did the same last year when they decided (along with the One World carriers) to refuse to check in luggage all the way if you have a connection with any other carrier, be it a One world member! Consequently it forces its passengers to go through immigration, then customs, then check in counter, then security etc. This hassle is for all passengers, even First class. In my first (and last) experience it took me an additional 2.5 hours (it was in JNB). Now I've switched carriers. Sad.
