ATL Weighs Axing New Parking Spaces Due to Ridesharing

As it undergoes its $6 billion makeover, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) might reduce capacity for new parking spaces as part of its upgrades. Previously, designs involved an eight-story parking structure at the popular airport’s South Terminal, but airport officials are currently weighing the functionality of the structure in light of the popularity of rideshare services like Lyft and Uber, which might reduce the functionality of the structure.
