Another U.S. Airline Pulls out of Cuba

Sun Country Airlines, a small carrier based out of Minnesota, is the latest American carrier to shut down flights to Cuba in light of lack of demand and travel restrictions. This cessation was finalized today after the carrier informed the Department of Transportation earlier this month of its plans to forego rights to make flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Matanzas and Santa Clara.

Problem is, the airline industry thought the floodgates were going to open.....but the requirements for US citizens have not really be relaxed all that much. Especially by the US government. Cuba was not the bonanza everyone thought it would be.
