American Airlines: It Wasn’t the Farts

A flatulent passenger did not, in fact, cause the evacuation of an American Airlines flight Sunday, according to the carrier. The flight which landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) coming from Charlotte, NC, was indeed evacuated after passengers became sick from fumes, but not because of a gassy passenger, as initially reported by RDU officials.
