Alaska Offers First-Class Passengers VR Experience

If you’ve ever thought to yourself “Flying is already a fun experience, but I wish I had more things strapped to my head,” Alaska Airlines has you covered in first-class seating — they’ve begun offering a virtual reality experience on Seattle-Boston and Boston-San Diego routes.

In addition to a selection of movies and experiences provided by Alaska, flyers will also be able to connect their VR headsets to their own content as well as stream from popular services.

The "killer application" (hopefully not literally!) here would be to put cameras for a full 360 degree view in all axes around the aircraft - and then provide the VR viewers with the experience of looking _through_ the plane in all directions!
