Alaska Loses Its Own CEO’s Luggage

Alaska Airlines misplaced its own president and CEO’s luggage on a flight last week, ultimately delivering the effects a day later. The executive, Brad Tilden, revealed the incident to an audience at an airline summit in Washington.

“The media is here, and I’m hoping that you don’t write this down and print it,” he told the crowd, admitting that it’s not the first time the airline lost his luggage either, misplacing it on a flight 25 years earlier.

It has not yet been confirmed if the airline will offer Tilden any compensation for the incident.
