Alaska Airlines Tries out Customer Service via Text Messages

Alaska Airlines has begun offering customer support to flyers via text messaging that puts them in touch with Alaska employees who can answer any questions they might have about their flights. According to figures cited by the carrier, 70 percent of flyers who contact Alaska are using mobile devices to do so, and 40 percent of issues raised can be resolved via text messages – which simplifies the process considerably, the carrier believes.

I've had great luck with this service. However I always call when its something more complicated.

Have used several times and it's worthless a typical answers making so you have to call customer service. Lame attempt. AS legendary customer service is in decline and thats sad
