Alaska Air Getting Money, Getting Paid

In a report released Thursday, Alaska Airlines set a record, claiming it had seen a 23% increase in its first-quarter net income thanks to lower fuel costs and more passengers. In a statement, airline CEO Brad Tilden said, “We are proud to report record first-quarter results.”
