Airport Plans Suspension of Operations

The intersecting runways of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) are slated to close for repairs for five hours every day between October 31 and November 28. The cracks and holes in runway surfaces will be covered with a protective layer of material in order to extend the shelf life of the runways.

International airlines have been made aware of the airport’s renovation plans and are advised to schedule their winter schedule accordingly.
