Airlines Apologizes to Tired Pilot

Thomas Cook Airlines has issued an apology after suspending one of their pilots who refused to fly because he was exhausted. The pilot, Captain Mike Simkins, was also threatened with termination, according to The Economist. Simkins took the situation to court and won, though the carrier insisted that he was actually disciplined because of a quarrel with superiors.
