Airline Unveils Napping Pods at JFK

With the help of MetroNaps, JetBlue Airways is bringing Energy Pods to JFK to allow passengers a 20-minute nap before or after their flights. The pods, which open Tuesday, can be found at JetBlue’s Terminal 5 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The devices offer “an ergonomically perfect, gravity-neutral position that optimizes circulation and encourages a reinvigorating, restful siesta,” according to MetroNaps.

Great idea...but who's watching their hand luggage whilst they nap?

These will be just like the large cushion seats in the far end of the terminal: occupied 100% of the time and never actually usable.
