Airline to Alter Takeoff for Eclipse

An Alaska Airlines flight will be altering its flight time by nearly 30 minutes tomorrow night to give its passengers the best view possible of a total solar eclipse. The eclipse will be at its most visible over the Pacific Ocean, so those travelers onboard flight 870 from Anchorage to Honolulu will have a prime view of the celestial event at 36,000 feet.
