Popular Route Pulled After Legal Threat

Because the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has threatened legal action, Kuwait Airways will no longer be selling fares for its flights between JKF and Heathrow Airport (LHR).

The move comes just after the DOT called the airline out, saying it broke the law for refusing to sell tickets to Israelis – a topic that was brought to the table in September after to department launched an investigation into the airline’s refusal to sell a ticket to Israeli citizen Eldad Gatt on the same route in 2013.

Good job DOT ! Thank you for helping the world overcome discrimination by yanking their revenue stream.
