Airline Debuts New Wine That Is Meant to Be Consumed In-Flight

Virgin Australia has partnered with St Hallett Winery located in Tanunda to craft a wine that is meant to be consumed in the air. Labeled “The Duo”, the wine was also designed to complement the carrier’s business menu. Winemaker Shelly Cox said, “We played around with a lot of different options to ensure the acid and texture balance was right.” The Duo, which is offered in the airline’s business classes, made its debut on March 1. It is also available in all Virgin Australia lounges.
