Airline Crew Plans to Strike Again This Week

Lufthansa’s cabin crew announced Monday that they plan to strike Thursday and Friday of this week, as they’re determined to cement the current outlines for employee retirement and pension benefits. The move comes just two weeks after a similar protest that led to approximately 4,700 flights being canceled, costing the carrier millions of dollars.

“We hope that this will finally bring serious movement in this labor dispute and that we will not be forced to strike in December as well,” said UFO union leader Nicoley Baublies.
