Starting March 1, air passenger duty – a tax paid in the U.K. on airline tickets – will be removed for everyone under 16, which will save passengers £13 per child on short-haul flights and up to £71 a child for longer flights. This refund can also apply to previously purchased tickets, so if customers purchased a ticket prior to March 1, they will be due up to £142 by using online applications at services like Ryanair, KLM and Flybe. Some refunds will be applied automatically applied, as with EasyJet, Thomas Cook and Thomson. A full list of airlines is available, including what customers have to do to reclaim their refunds.

Both this article and the original link fail to mention that this only applies for economy flights and not those taking PE, business or first. The charge for economy is £72 whereas PE etc is £142 which will still apply.
