Air Berlin to Pursue Vigorous Restructuring to Combat Volatility

Air Berlin has announced that they will “rigorously continue” plans to restructure the carrier’s business model in an effort to combat market volatility and increasing competition. “It is to be expected that global political uncertainty and the recent repeated terrorist attacks will adversely affect general consumer behavior,” said an Air Berlin spokesperson. “Air Berlin will counter these risks by ensuring that it rigorously continues its current restructuring program to improve efficiency and reduce costs – particularly in the operating areas and in the organisational structure.”
