Added Routes, Canceled Flights and Waived Change Fees for Hurricane Irma

In preparation for Hurricane Irma’s impact, American Airlines is allowing affected travelers to change their flights without change fees in most circumstances.

American Airlines has also added extra flights out of St. Kitts and St. Maarten scheduled to depart before the storm’s arrival. “Customers can contact our reservations team to be rebooked,” (at 1-800-433-7300 ) says to a statement from American Airlines.

British Airways has canceled “some” of their flights to the Caribbean, “with Virgin and Caribbean Airlines following suit.” Travelers on these airlines are advised to ” keep an eye on their flight status for any updates.”
