Actress Shames Delta for Separating Her From Her Child

In a story that quickly went viral, Freaks and Geeks actress Busy Phillips publicly shamed Delta Airlines in a (now-deleted) Tweet for re-routing her 9-year-old daughter on a different flight:
Hey @Delta! Thanks for cancelling my flight and then rerouting us and separating my MINOR child onto a different flight than mine and having a 2 HR call time wait! You are terrible!
The trouble started when Phillips’ flight to Minnesota was cancelled. Then, when Delta re-booked the tickets, they put mother and daughter on two different flights.
Once Phillips @’ed the airline, they responded promptly saying that mother and child ended up on different flights because they had initially booked under different itineraries.
After Delta responded, Phillips deleted the Tweet. But the actress chose to book tickets on another airline. Delta reportedly gave the actress a refund.
