AA Workers Picket Over Outsourcing, Pay
On Wednesday, hundreds of American Airlines employees picketed the carrier’s base of operations at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), demanding better pay and a cessation of American’s outsourcing of maintenance work overseas.
“They are not going to hoard it all to themselves,” said Transport Workers Union president John Samuelson about the $2.7 billion made by American Airlines in 2016. “The TWU work force is going to get their fair share in this contract negotiation.”
