sdsearch: I did NOT misread the article here. The article in Food & Wine stated the flights were on the half hour. This article mistakenly said the flights were half an hour. Subsequent to my comment, they deleted the reference to time. My reading and comprehension skills are fine.

nadabrainlac, you apparently misread that article. It didn’t say the flight would LAST half an hour, it said they would START ON the half-hour, as in always at XX:30 (eg, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, etc).

Beer at 1500 mph? That would be interesting - I wonder if it tastes different at Mach 2. I'm referring, of course, only to the half-hour flights from ORD to LGA that they discussed in the article.
