AA Sees 1.5% Traffic Increase

According to an American Airlines statement released Tuesday, the carrier claims it has seen an increase in traffic of 1.5% year over year for the month of December.

The airline’s international traffic has grown faster than its domestic traffic – its U.S.-Europe business did not see a decline, despite November’s Paris attacks – and the average flight last month was 81.6% full, while December 2014’s stood at 80.4%.
