AA Premium Economy Gets an Official Date

On April 2, American Airlines will officially launch its long-touted Premium Economy product on the 787-9 Dreamliner. Though the carrier plans to eventually expand the service to other aircraft and routes, it will initially offer it exclusively on flights from Dallas to Madrid, Paris, São Paulo and Seoul.

I think JL, CX, BA, and QF Have PE Partner Awards, I also understand TAM did not sure about LATAM Situation now but maybe they do also..

The JL 787s have 2-4-2 seating in coach and are hence very, very neat. Not comparison to the 3-3-3 Nightmareliners. There are many OneWorld Airlines that have a PE proper ... but there is not OneWorl award scheme for PE yet. Not even between the carriers that offer a PE.

No more upgrades from Coach to Business with EVIP certificates How soon before AA have Premium Coach awards that you can also use on OneWorld Partner Flights in Premium Coach?

I haven't ridden an AA 787 yet. I've ridden JL 787s, in Y and J, and they're VERY nice. (Admittedly, the JL cabin crew helps...)

Finally. This will mitigate the most horrible aspect of the 787 aircraft. A wise move on behalf of AA.
