AA Flight Makes Successful Landing After Tire Blows Out

An American Airlines Boeing 737-800 from Portland, Oregon, made an emergency landing at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) Friday after a tire on the aircraft reportedly blew out upon takeoff. No injuries were reported among the 157 passengers and crew members onboard and, after assessing the damage, firefighters found no other issues.
