AA Flight Grounded Due to “a Possible Odor”
On Tuesday, an aircraft operated by American Airlines turned back around and landed at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) after flight crew noticed “a possible odor” eking out from the cabin of the aircraft.
“The aircraft will be evaluated by our maintenance team, and we apologize to our customers for the inconvenience,” said a spokesperson for American Airlines.
It remains unclear what the potential odor was that concerned flight crew enough to circle back around.
