AA Flight Evacuated After Passenger Finds Bullet

A Minneapolis-bound American Airlines flight was evacuated at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) before takeoff on Wednesday after a passenger allegedly discovered a bullet on the floor of the plane. Local police have reported that passengers were removed from the aircraft flight and rescreened through airport security, but agents were unable to locate the source of the .22-caliber bullet. No other suspicious items or contraband were found aboard the aircraft and nobody was detained by authorities, according to Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Vince Lewis.
