AA Flight Attendants to Demonstrate on Valentine’s Day

On Valentine’s Day, flight attendants working for American Airlines will picket the airline’s headquarters in Fort Worth over what the flight attendants’ union views as the carrier’s “broken promises” to employees. The action marks the four-year anniversary of American’s merger with US Airways, and the flight attendants’ union is protesting the absence of benefits promised by the airline as a result of the merger.
