AA Flight Attendants Take Cut on Pay Raise

A panel ruled against the size of a raise for American Airlines flight attendants Tuesday. The airline had disagreed with the flight attendants’ union – The Association of Professional Flight Attendants – on how big the raise should be in a salary readjustment first discussed in 2014.

“All in all, these [raises] amount to approximately 9.6 percent in total pay increases since April 2016,” the carrier said in a statement to its flight attendants. Ultimately, the arbitration panel agreed upon a 1.6 percent pay raise beginning mid-May.

Well, they still get a rise so no need to whinge. Especially given how desperately awful their service is only too often!
