AA Employee Sentenced to 14 Months for Checkpoint Meltdown

On Friday, 31-year-old American Airlines employee Jordan Moore was sentenced in court to 14 months in prison and two additional years of supervised release due to an incident at a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) over a year ago. Moore had been arrested for attempting to bypass the checkpoint before resorting to threats to security personnel.

Moore attempted to bypass two other checkpoint lines before fleeing the airport, hopped on a bus to escape security personnel and returning two hours later to attempt to bypass the checkpoints again.
