American Airlines Bats Around Idea of UAE Partnership

At the International Air Transport Association’s annual gathering over the weekend, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker claimed that he has not ruled out the potential of a partnership with United Arab Emirates carriers in the future as a response to the conclusion of tensions in the wake of the alleged Open Skies Accord violations.

“We haven’t had enough time to make sure that those resolutions have the effect that we hope for,” said Parker at the event.

Although I know the ME3 have way better aircraft setup and service, I'm a little surprised that no US carrier wants to start up service again... even if its only one flight in the entire network to Dubai, Doha, etc. where flyers can continue on a different metal/partner...
