AA Agrees to Give Pilots, FAs Raise

In an effort to please their employees and match salaries offered at competing legacy carriers, American Airlines has agreed to give their workers a raise. Pilots will receive an eight-percent increase in salary, while flight attendants will see an increase of five percent.

The raise should put workers on “levels that are equal to the highest rates currently in place at either Delta or United,” said airline CEO Dough Parker in a statement to employees.

CEO Dough Parker... Yep, he's making dough, but he's cheap and it shows in AA's maintenance records, scheduling and FA/pilot pay.
