A New Airline Introduces Flat Bed Business Class
There’s good news for those who travel frequently to South America:
Copa Airlines has just announced that they will be introducing lie-flat seats in business class, an upgrade from the reclining seats in their existing product.
The seats will be introduced in their new 737 MAX 9 planes. They’ve just taken delivery of their first and in it will go 16 fully flat B/E Aerospace Diamond seats (with 16″ touchscreen monitors) spread across four rows in a 2-2 configuration.

They’re branding their new business class product “Dreams.”
Copa will also be introducing a new Economy Extra product: seats with 34″ of pitch (with 10″ seatback monitors) for a little extra leg room.
But not every product is getting an upgrade. Copa will be eliminating seatback screens in economy, leaving passengers to stream entertainment from their personal devices.

This is great news - Copa has the best coverage of South/Latin America for *A but the recliner chairs they have now have been a downside. Will watch to see how quickly they roll this out.
Not sure why headline claims "New Airline" I think Copa has been around for quite sometime??
