Amtrak is offering a special deal on tickets for people traveling on Father’s Day weekend throughout the United States, encouraging families to travel together and make happy and lasting memories for the holiday.

Amtrak is having a huge sale to celebrate dads around the country, with 30% off of tickets nationwide. The tickets must be purchased from Amtrak.com between June 13 and June 17, with travel occurring between August 1 and November 7.
“From New York to D.C. to Chicago to Seattle, this offer provides a chance to get away and enjoy the changing scenery from coast to coast,” Amtrak President and CEO Richard Anderson said in a release. “With the chance to stretch out into miles of leg room while enjoying a good book with America as a back drop, the journey can truly become the most important part of the adventure.”
