80 SFO Flights Canceled Due to Smoke-Filled Skies

80 flights from various airlines have been canceled at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) due to heavy smoke in the atmosphere caused by wildfires in the North Bay.

“It’s kind of like metering lights going on to a freeway,” said SFO spokesperson Doug Yakel, who went on to say that one in four flights have experienced delays as a result of the wildfires.
