8 Airlines Awarded Flights to Cuba

After almost five decades of banned flights, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced Thursday morning that eight U.S. airlines have been awarded tentative flights to Havana, Cuba, with each carrier being given at least one weekly nonstop flight. Additionally, the DOT approved 14 separate daily routes to Havana, and one route with Saturday-only service. The DOT previously awarded flights to other Cuban cities, and announced in June that six U.S. airlines were to be given flights from five U.S. destinations to nine Cuban cities other than Havana. The DOT deliberated on its decision regarding Havana routes due to the number of U.S. airlines applying for flights outnumbering the amount of flights being offered for service to Havana. The airlines awarded flights to Cuba are: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines.

So where is the list? This is nothing but a click bait article if you're not even going to talk about who got which route.
