4-Hour Flight Turns to 33-Hour Nightmare, BA Apologizes

British Airways has apologized for a 4-hour flight from London to Athens that turned into a 33-hour nightmare involving four planes.

The ordeal began when a faulty cockpit warning light caused the first flight to be canceled. The flight was re-scheduled for four hours later but couldn’t take off because the cabin crew had exceeded their working hours.

Passengers then boarded a second plane, but had to deplane – after an hour on board – due to “security issues.”

Passengers were finally able to board a third plane the next day but the starboard engine caught fire forcing them to deplane. They finally boarded a fourth plane successfully later that evening.

Note to self: British Air obviously sucks. It's behaving more like a horrible budget airline from a decade ago. Avoid British Air at all costs.
