31-Year-Old Aircraft Has Two Major Emergencies in 12 Days

Jet2 customers aren’t pleased over their experiences aboard a 30-year-old Boeing 737 that has made two emergency landings in 12 days and is still in operation.

“Quite a few people’s gas masks [oxygen masks] didn’t come down and they were ripping them from the ceilings, at least three people,” said one passenger aboard a flight that made an emergency landing in Barcelona. “I’d like an acknowledgment that I was on the plane and that there was an incident.”
