$282k Found on Delta Employee at PBI
A Delta employee was arrested at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) after a complaint was filed against him on Monday for attempting to give $282,400 to an unknown person in one of the airport’s bathrooms. The 26-year-old worker, Jean Yves Selius, was reportedly on his way to the restroom to deliver the cash when he was stopped by a PBI operations officer and asked if he had authority to be in the terminal they were presently in, which was undergoing a routine check.
The officer then examined the backpack’s contents and found the money. Selius faces one charge of illegal money transmitting. According to CNN, “He’d [Selius] allegedly done such drop-offs before for about a year, earning close to $4,000 for his work.”
