2 Hospitalized After Dulles Mobile Lounge Crash
On Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m. ET, a mobile lounge containing 37 passengers accidentally hit a construction trench at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), sending two people to the hospital for “non-life-threatening injuries.” The Washington Post reports that the other 35 passengers arrived at the airport terminal about an hour after the incident after transferring to another mobile lounge while the first lounge remained lodged in the construction area. The passengers were en route to Customs and Border Protection lines after arriving on a flight from Bogota when the incident happened.
