“Unbearable” BO Forces Emergency Landing

Just how bad does body odor have to be to cause an emergency landing?
Passengers on a Transavia flight to the Spanish island of Gran Canaria found out when the “unbearable” smell of an “unwashed” man onboard made several passengers ill.
Very ill.
He allegedly smelled so foul that passengers began fainting and vomiting after the plane took off from Schiphol Airport.
One Belgian passenger, Piet van Haut, told Express that “It was like he hadn’t washed himself for several weeks. Several passengers got sick and had to puke.”
Flight attendants tried to keep him contained in the airplane bathroom while the pilot diverted the flight. After they landed, the man was taken off the plane and placed on a bus. By medical personnel.
That is one mighty powerful odor.
