Delta: Your Social Media Hashtags Give Us Rights to Your Content
In an update to Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles terms and conditions, the carrier has added a new caveat for flyers using social media:
“By tagging photos using #SkyMilesLife and/or #DeltaMedallionLife, user grants Delta Air Lines (and those they authorize) a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the submissions, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion on Delta websites, commercial products and any other Delta channels, including but not limited to #SkyMilesLife or #DeltaMedallionLife publications.”

As no one owns a hashtag and they can not force you to read or accept those terms prior to using a hash tag, I highly doubt this is enforceable in any way!
Aaaaaannnndddd, that's why I block the apps non-essential permissions as well as not posting pictures on social media and hashtags.
Aaaaaand thats why I don't post any pictures on social media or hashtag stuff.
