Close Call at JFK After Plane Nearly Lands on Wrong Runway

This week, an aircraft operated by Volaris nearly landed on a runway at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on which a Delta Air Lines flight was preparing to take off. The Delta flight was told to “cancel take off plans” by air traffic controllers after Delta crew noticed the approaching flight.

Volaris released a statement, saying “Volaris will conduct an investigation to determine the factors that led to this event. The safety of our passengers and crew is our highest priority.”

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Actually the article and headline says "nearly landed". Do you read the articles before posting criticisms?
