UA Flight Lands Safely After Engine Issue Grounds Plane
On Monday, a Boeing 737-800 operated by United Airlines safely performed an emergency landing in Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) after one of its engines allegedly overheated. The flight was over the ocean at the time of the incident.
One passenger reported that the plane “about crashed in an emergency landing before the pilot quickly pulled up,” and another went on to say that the incident was “most frightening thing I’ve ever experienced.”
