Airbus Distraught With Brexit Restrictions

In the wake of the United Kingdom’s decision to withdraw from the European Union (EU) last year, Airbus COO Tom Williams complained to the Commons Treasury Select Committee that primary rival Boeing would benefit greatly at Airbus’ expense due to Brexit-related travel restrictions. Williams warned that Airbus’ inability to travel freely through EU countries would severely impact the company’s employees and standing as an aircraft carrier.
