“Delta Is Kicking Us out Because I Spoke a Different Language”
Vlogger posts video while being removed by authorities prior to departure.
A YouTube star is accusing Delta Air Lines of removing him from a flight for speaking Arabic, while the airline says they are investigating the incident from all angles. In a video posted to Twitter, vlogger Adam Saleh accused the carrier of removing himself and others from Delta Flight 1 on Tuesday, December 21, at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), for speaking “words in a different language.”
The 90-second video starts on Saleh being trailed by a flight attendant and a ramp agent. During the video, which has been retweeted over 500,000 times, he claims his removal is over speaking a different language, which he tweets was Arabic. He also accused another passenger of cursing at him prior to the removal. The video abruptly ends as another ramp agent approaches Saleh, with the assumed intention of removing him from the aircraft.
We got kicked out of a @Delta airplane because I spoke Arabic to my mom on the phone and with my friend slim… WTFFFFFFFF please spread pic.twitter.com/P5dQCE0qos

“I spoke a word in a different language, and you said you feel uncomfortable?” Saleh said in an exchange with people aboard the aircraft. “[It is] six white people against us bearded men?”
Saleh later tweeted that the police were called to speak to him, followed by being rebooked aboard a different airline. The vlogger claimed he was “security checked” for over 30 minutes.
In a set of statements posted to their website, Delta confirmed two passengers were removed from DL1 on Tuesday, after “more than 20 passengers expressed their discomfort” with the flyers. The airline announced both men were rebooked on a later flight and a full investigation into the incident would follow. Officials at the airline planned to speak with the affected passengers once the flight landed.
“We take all allegations of discrimination seriously and we are gathering all of the facts before jumping to any conclusion,” the airline said in a subsequent statement. “Furthermore, Delta people are trained to and frequently handle conflicts between passengers.”
The incident is not the first time Saleh has been reprimanded by an airline for his behavior. Earlier in December, the vlogger claimed he was smuggled aboard an Australian flight in a suitcase, which was later debunked by Melbourne Airport (MEL) and TigerAir.

I surprised anyone (including some posters here) are falling for this 'stunt'. Adam Saleh has a history of attention-grabbing stunts. Read up on the "I put myself in a suitcase" lie and many others. As most of you noted, he got kicked off the plane (and hopefully banned for life) for being a loud obnoxious attention seeking a-hole.
After some searching because I would like my air travel inclusive yet safe... having travels since I was 5 (status w/several sincew 1998) I can say I have never seen someone escorted off a plane. What I find troubling is the amount of times this person has been escorted off a plane.... either its you or them.... usually it you.... If someone has been escorted off a plane more than once in a lifetime then one seriously has to question -- who is the real problem just my two cents (but it seems to have become some political racial thing when - if you are an ass, your an ass)
Americans are a paranoid lot!
Wasteland of the not-so-free...
Without any evidence that this has been fact checked, it can only be described as "unverified", as in Fake News. Come back when you have the facts straight; you may be correct, or you may not. No way to know now.
