JetBlue Reveals “RetroJet” Livery
On Friday, JetBlue introduced a“RetroJet” livery on one of its Airbus A320s that features “a one-of-a-kind paint scheme designed to celebrate the iconic jet age of air travel and to highlight JetBlue’s innovative style,” according to the carrier. Because it began service in 2000, JetBlue has never had livery considered to be a retro aesthetic. In order to achieve that, the airline “dug into an archive of popular logos and notable companies from the mid-1960s to essentially reverse-engineer the JetBlue brand…”

Isn't this almost really old Braniff? Maybe the best retro ever if they would have carried through with a 1960 tail.
I think this is so dumb. Retro liveries pay tribute to the iconic histories of major airlines and their acquired brands. If JetBlue wants to do a retro livery, wait 50 years.
