Longest Route By U.S. Airline Now Open

Using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner, United Airlines will now be flying the longest route flown by any U.S. carrier – a nonstop service from San Francisco to Singapore. At 8,446 miles, the flight is the third longest offered by any airline in the world according to airline data provider OAG.

ATL-JNB on DL is listed at 8439 miles. Not a lot of difference.

Of course last week, the "Longest Route By U.S. Airline Now Open" was open as well... and last month... and last year. :) Since the first US airline, there was always a longest route by a US airline. :) (Just some lighthearted teasing.)
