Airbus: India Will Need Lots of Aircraft by 2034
India will reportedly need 1,600 new aircraft by 2034, which will cost approximately $224 billion, according to a recent forecast released by Airbus. The manufacturer reports the requested aircraft will include “1,230 single-aisle jets and 380 widebody and freighter aircraft.”
“As India’s industrial might grows, along with it comes economic development, wealth generation and a rise in the number of regular and first-time flyers,” said Kiran Rao, the company’s executive vice president of marketing and strategy.
