Alaska Airlines Apologizes With $100 Credit
Alaska Airlines credited $100 each to passengers of Flight 800 each after the plane was forced to land following an altercation between flight crew and a drunk passenger. The flyer locked himself in the aircraft’s bathroom and the flight was grounded in Portland so he could be handed over to police. After the flight landed over an hour behind schedule, passengers received a text from Alaska Airlines that read: “We apologize for your experience today. Very soon, you’ll receive an email with a $100 discount code off future travel. Reply STOP to cancel.”

UA would go broke in a week if gave $100 to every pax who it made late.
Of all the US airlines I've flown, Alaska's customer service has been the best.
